Where did I come from? What makes me unique? What makes a human … a human? These are questions Sarah Tishkoff asks every day.
Traveling more than 8,000 miles to do fieldwork in Africa, Tishkoff collects data to help her understand evolution and its role in shaping human history and human health. By combining her training in genetics and anthropology, she’s starting to help us better understand who we are as individuals and as a species.
